Arturo Vidal insists that FC Barcelona are the biggest club in the world and joining them is a huge step forward compared to playing for Bayern Munich in Germany.
Vidal completed his move from Bayern for €20 million and is expected to be deployed in the same position in midfield, where Barca legend Andres Iniesta played, allowing Philippe Coutinho to play further forward.
“Joining Barcelona means taking a huge step forward from playing for Bayern Munich,” Vidal told reporters after his presentation.
“Barcelona are the biggest club in the world and they have the best team in the world.
“I will try to improve this team by helping them winning all the titles and I promise to do my best in order to fulfil the expectation of this club. The confidence this club has placed in me is something I will forever be grateful for.
“My aim? I have a three-year contract, so I want to win three league titles and three Champions League.
