Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly missed training for the second day in a row and it is very unlikely now that the Belgian will stay in London this season.
Courtois was due for talks with Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri on Monday, but the goalkeeper hasn’t turned up for training and wants to join Real Madrid in La Liga because of family reasons.
According to reports, Chelsea are about to trigger Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa’s €80 million release clause to replace Courtois, which will make him the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the game.
Kepa, 23, will fly to London in a private jet tomorrow to complete the deal on Thursday and could make his debut in Chelsea’s Premier League opener with Huddersfield on Saturday.
